Is the Word Inspired?
This seems to be a question that alot are confused on today,Is the Word of God really inspired ?
Lets see what the Inspired (and still is ) Word of the MOST High says about just this subject.
#1. Reason is, God says so…
2Tim 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
I would have you see the word “is” in this verse.
It states it is inspired,if you go back to the beginning of time and view the Word of God it is inspired ,if you should go to the future, next to the last day for this planet, standing in that day you can still say the Word is inspired. It is like the words and title that God gave to Moses to tell who sent him …I am and in that context He is present and existing in any tense.Same thing with this word “is” The Word is Inspired.
Not a “was” inspired only at the time of the original,as many would have you think.
#2. Reason is,God would be un-just and therefore not Holy if He judge us by His word that was faulty,as we would not really know what was wrong or right .
For a Judge to set and make a judgement on a bench there must be a record of the laws that he goes bye. Just image with me if that book of laws was full of mistakes …talk about chaos, and it is So with God and His Word,He will judge the Christian (not as in the sense of punishment, but as in the correction of a loving father) .He will aslo judge the un saved, but as punishment.
If the Bible is full of errors as most users of other translations say it is then how Can God judge ? God is much bigger than man thinks He is.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path.
Seems most would have us thinking that God left this up to man, and not Sovereign of all things known and unknow. But that just not what the Bible says.Man does.
